FAMILIES ARE STRUGGLING TO FEED THEIR CHILDREN IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD
Many of our low-income neighbors work in industries that pay them in cash, daily or weekly. These workers cannot verify their income through taxes, nor qualify for unemployment. Now they have been asked to stay home and are not able to work. 1736 Crisis Center on Pico has had hundreds of calls for help with food, diapers and baby formula. However, they have run out of food to distribute.
The Center is an official distributer of the City services and has a process and verify the needs of the families requesting the help. My goal is to get them stocked up so that they will not have to turn down any families during this time.
Can you help?
Donate here and we will buy and deliver the diapers and dry goods to 1736 Family Crisis Center at 5213 Pico Blvd. Or please take donations of non-perishable food items and diapers of all sizes (size 5 & 6 and pullups needed now!)
