Join us with your gracious support of Grace Doyle, TAC's first paid Coordinator!
How can TAC support you and Baltimore County children and adults of all ages? How would you like to support TAC and its fabulous new leader, Grace Doyle?
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, TAC has endured financial hardship. Workshops, events, membership, exhibitions, and human engagement are ways in which TAC stays afloat. These community connections have been transitioned to an online format and we are adapting to the best of our ability.
Art is a healing experience and brings joy into people’s lives. As a therapeutic and positive force during these stressful and uncertain times, please consider donating to help fund TAC’s Coordinator Position so that Towson Arts Collective can contribute to the arts community in the greater Towson area.
All donations to TAC, a 501c3 nonprofit, are tax deductible.
Please consider donating any amount you choose -- or become a TAC Member and receive gifts of the Arts -- see our special offers below!
What is TAC?
TAC, Towson Arts Collective, is a 501c3 nonprofit arts organization that has been a part of the greater Towson community since 2007. We provide a venue for artists while being an art education center. We seek to promote the growth of greater Towson's art community in Maryland and surrounding areas by combining the knowledge and energy of its residents and students with working artistic professionals. TAC has provided visual and performing arts programs for artists of all ages, inclusive of those with disabilities. All media is represented and supported, including a video lab funded by the Baltimore County Commission of Arts and Sciences.
Why is the Coordinator Position important?
In December 2019, TAC hired its first employee to fill the role of Coordinator! This is a very important role within the TAC organization and performs essential responsibilities to help TAC with structure, engagement, organization, grant writing, and membership to keep our doors open at the Shops at Kenilworth, and other venues such as BCPL and outdoor festivals.
Highlights of our Coordinator's accomplishments so far include: -- Routine patron & membership engagement -- Valentine's Day Kids' Craft event -- TAC membership meeting & receptions -- Website and social media management, including setting up online exhibitions in response to COVID-19 restrictions.
Grace has helped poise TAC to be ready to tap into our membership base to work towards increasing workshops and classes, and to start fundraising to establish a permanent arts center. We love her and everything she does! She is an exceptional painter with a Masters in Business Administration and who is currently pursuing a Masters of Fine Art. What a treasure!!!
