Hi, my name is Ambika, I am a graduating senior at Chapel Hill High School! With schools being shutdown due to Covid-19, I want to be useful and apply one of my favorite hobbies, jewelry making, to raise funds for medical professionals on the forefront of our fight against this pandemic. When I lived in Maine as a child, one of my favorite things to do was collect sea glass, so I decided to capture that moment and make necklaces out of them. From there, I branched out to rings, anklets, bracelets, etc. During these difficult times, I came across Direct Relief, an organization partnered with the WHO, working to distribute personal protective equipment and critical care medications to health care professionals across the country. They are also staging personal protective equipment with regional response agencies across the world, including in the Caribbean and South America through the Pan American Health Organization. To support their mission, I am selling jewelry and donating 100% of the proceeds to Direct Relief. Please take a look at my portfolio! Any donation helps. Thank you all!
