Little Hashbrown was found in a parking lot, all skin and bones. No mom or siblings around. The person who found her contacted CARE who took Hashbrown in as a rescue.
A trip to the vet showed she weighed barely a pound at 5 weeks old. Hashbrown was a happy kitty who quickly gained weight and loved to play. Suddenly, though, she began having seizures. A trip to the emergency veterinary hospital determined that there was no obvious cause and she was put on medication to try to address the seizures, but she continues to have seizures sometimes 3-4 in a day. Now her future is uncertain. It is unusual for a kitten this young to have seizures. The Veterinary neurologist says she needs a spinal tap and an MRI to determine the cause and acequately treat her. These tests cost $2500. Won't you help CARE help Hashbrown?
