This is a story of friendships.
It is to your sense of friendship I am appealing to...
In 1996 a very young Alfred Nyamburi arrived in the Chyulu, as a learning carpenter. He had his father wood plane and an overall... He helped me built Campi ya Kanzi
24 years later Alfred is now the head mechanic, the head electrician, the head of the workshop.
You can see him smiling in his green overall, in the opening photo.
If you stayed with us, it is thanks to him that everything was working perfectly. And Alfred has made all systems for MWCT, from radios to solar installations, to all electricity... He is that amazing!
Alfred could loose his life due to a cancer in his liver.
The cancer is isolated and his life can be saved by surgery.
When I got the news the other day I reached to my friend Paolo Muiesan. We have known each other for nearly 40 years... And I have not seen him for more than 25! But true friendship is forever...
Paolo is one of the most prominent liver surgeons in the World. I told him about Alfred, he stepped in, talked with Dr. Saio at Nairobi Hospital and to Dr. Ondede at Kenyatta Hospital. They found a solution: Paolo is coming to help. Free of charge.
This is what I call FRIENDSHIP.
Today surgery has been scheduled.
We are raising funds for all incidentals expenses and hospital bills.
Please, if you have stayed with us, if you send your guests here, if you have helped or known MWCT, please, please, please: make a donation.
No matter how small it will help us doing this amazing life saving procedure... together!
