Help us provide emergency aid and relief to the flood victims of Sudan.
Sudan has been declared a natural disaster area by authorities, and a three-month state of emergency has been imposed across the country after rising floodwaters and heavy rainfall killed around 100 people and displaced around 600,000 more. Over 100,000 homes have totally or partially collapsed since late July.
The flooding in Sudan has been caused by heavy rainfall in neighboring Ethiopia, which has led the Nile River to rise about 17.5 meters (57 feet) late in August, the highest level it has reached in over a century.
The affected families need food, shelter, medical supplies and other emergency items, including sleeping mats, jerrycans, mosquito nets and so much more. There is a desperate need for mosquito nets especially for infants.
All funds will go directly to the affected families.
