Help Families Impacted By Home Fires: North Texas

It’s a sight all too familiar to families across North Texas - a fire ablaze in their home. In their time of need, the American Red Cross is there to provide support to North Texans in uncertain hours, days and weeks following a home fire.

Red Cross volunteers respond to a home fire at any moment. Once a call comes in—whatever the hour—volunteers  quickly mobilize to load blankets, food, water and medical supplies into Emergency Response Vehicles and rush to the scene. Once there, they spread out to do what they do best—provide comfort, hope and vital aid to neighbors who’ve been thrown into an unexpected nightmare.

As part of our mission to building strong and resilient communities, the Red Cross North Texas provides home fire preparedness training, free smoke alarms and support and care to those who need to rebuild after losing a fire.

In the last year, we’ve installed more than 8,600 free smoke alarms, created nearly 3,200 fire escape plans for neighbors and served more 9,350 people impacted by local disasters.

You can help the Red Cross help our neighbors in need  by donating today and helping us raise $1,000 by July 31.

Your gift will help families affected by home fires and allow us provide lifesaving preparedness programming across North Texas.

Thank you for considering a donation to the Red Cross North Texas today!
