As we Desert Pigs grow, so do our expenses. in fact sometimes, these expenses are the only thing that slow down our expansion into new towns.
Some dumps take vouchers, which their customers then donate to Pigs. But not all do, so we need cash in the Piggy Bank to cover fees.
E-waste, refrigerators, and tires are extra expensive, and are not covered by dump vouchers.
Disposible safety gear, buckets, first aid, and fleet vehicle maintenance expenses add up as well.
Also, with every new group we form, more money is needed for liability and workman’s comp. (Yes, even volunteers must be covered)
