Lt. Dan came to EVHS in July of 2018. We noticed he was acting a little grumpy and limping a bit. We took Dan to the vet and to our surprise we found out that Dan had previously broken his leg and dislocated his hip trying to compensate his balance. This little guy has been such a trooper, he doesn't seem to be in much pain, but we are making sure he is comfortable and given lots of kisses and affection! He has developed a little hop in his step and is adjusting as well as he can. Because EVHS is a small Non-Profit agency, it is financially difficult to pay for the surgery and rehabilitation Lt. Dan desperately needs. Dan will need to be fostered or adopted after his surgery and he will needs lot of TLC! Let's make that happen and give Lt. Dan the life he deserves! GO Lt. Dan!
