Last year, we introduced you to a dog named Coco. She came to us at 8 years young, severely emaciated and blind. On the brink of death, to be honest. But with excellent vet care, a whole lot of emergency vet visits, and an amazing foster family, she has blossomed. Her transformation has been a beautiful thing to witness. And now she has her final hurdle. She needs cataract surgery to regain her vision and honestly, we cannot wait to give the gift of sight to her. She has been through so much - she is hyperthyroid, she is diabetic, but she is strong.
It's day 319 in rescue for Coco. Almost a full year of emotional and physical recovery. From an old, scared dog who could barely walk into our office to a bouncy, running girl who goes on jogs with her foster dad. We are asking for your help. We wish we didn't have to think about numbers in order to give Coco her sight back, but unfortunately we do. Between ocular ultrasounds, her specialized cataract removal surgery and post-op vet visits, we need to raise about $5,700. That's a lot of money, but allowing Coco to see again is priceless. We've included the breakdown of costs that make up the final step of Coco's recovery. If you want to help this old dog regain her vision, please consider donating! We appreciate any help you can offer - we are a rescue built off of $10, $20 donations!
