Central African Republic is a small country the size of Texas with a population of about 4 million. It is one of the world’s poorest countries and has been called the most dangerous place in the world for children due to violence and mass recruitment of child soldiers. In the last several years, CAR was torn upside down by civil conflict between Muslim and Christians and, most recently, a natural disaster hit the country with floods leaving over 20,000 displaced and homeless.
CAR Renaissance Foundation is on a mission to fight poverty and provide hope and much needed resources to CAR's most vulnerable and at-risk populations. We are a 501 C3 not-for-profit and all donations will be tax deductible.
With the help of Blackhorse International, we aim to rebuild the communities of CAR, one home at a time. Our home reconstruction project will not only provide vulnerable individuals with places to live, it will also give them an opportunity to earn a living by helping us with our endeavors. Locals will also be able to surrender their weapons to us, helping to keep the area safe from future violence.
Please help us rebuild the homes of those whose lives have been upended by war, conflict and natural disasters so they can recover. Any donations to support the “Give me a home and I give you my guns” project are appreciated.
