Alisson Zuniga Cruz is a 20 year-old asylum-seeker from Honduras. She came to the US this year, fleeing domestic and sexual violence. She was kicked out of her home when her abuser impregnated her at 15.
She has a 2 year-old daughter, whom she left with her mother in Honduras to make the journey to the United States. On her treacherous journey, she was further assaulted. She was detained by ICE and suffered panic attacks while in detention. She eventually found a pro bono attorney willing to take her case, but it was too late. ICE suddenly deported her in late October.
Alisson is now in Honduras, working to rebuild a life for herself and her daughter. She could use support from her allies in the US. She feels very bad having to ask and is shy about it. Any amount helps, no matter how small. Please help us spread the word by sharing this campaign on social media!
