This season, the Afghan Student Association across various California universities such as UC San Diego, UC Riverside & UC Davis have partnered with International Orphan Care (non-profit , 501(c)(3) and 509(a)(1) , non-political non-sectarian orgnaization with Tax ID 33-0547951) to provide medical & needed supplies for hospitals/clinics inside Afghanistan. The enduring 40 plus years of conflict in Afghanistan continues to wreak havoc on every aspect of Afghan society and its infrastructure, including its dilapidated healthcare system. The incessant terrorist attacks shatters innocent lives on a daily basis, leaving numerous children, men and women with life lasting and debilitating injures and further burdening an already broken healthcare system. In addition, the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has increased patient mortality, with an already life expectancy of 44 years with majority of its population under the age of 30. While the situation may seem bleak, you can make a difference by partnering with International Orphan Care (IOC) to bring relief to the suffering people of Afghanistan. With your kind donation, IOC will be partnering with Project C.U.R.E in assessing the needs of 10 hospitals which are in dire need of medical supplies. Please consider donating, your gift will give the most vulnerable patients, families, and children in Afghanistan access to healthcare and access to hope. We sincerely appreciate you sharing this link with your family and friends.
