Here, in Augusta GA, like most places, many families find themslevs in need during this crisis. Some are not able to work and therefoe are not getting paid. Yet they have a family to feed and bills to pay. Some suddenly find their children home from school and now they are in need of paying childcare expenses. Childcare or food? Utilities or food? Medicine or food? We at Broad Street Ministry Center are abiding by all regulations set out by the state and federal government, while still aiming to remain open. We have modified how we serve families to ensure the safety of all and to remain following the protocols laid out by the authority above us. The hunger need continues to grow, however, the financial and food donations toward the center have gone down. We are creating this fundraiser in hopes of re-stocking our shelves so that we can serve as many of our neighbors as possible during this crisis. We are a 501(c)3 so anything you give is tax deductible. Thank you for helping us, as we help those in need.
