THANK YOU for giving!
Your giving helped us to care for families in Augusta GA area and beyond, who found themslves hurting during this pandemic. We were able to raise $5,000 in the 2020 year because of you all, and hundreds of families were blessed by your giving.
We have decided, since this pandemic is still upon us, to continue this fundraiser for the 2021 year. Every penny you give will go toward families in Augusta GA (and surrounding areas) who find themselves in need, by providing food, clothing, hygiene supplies, bedding ...
We have had some amazing individuals, families, organizations, and churches give to those in need in the Augusta GA area. We stand in awe! Since Covid, we have served thousands of families. Thank you for being a part of it!!
Many of these families are having to choose between diapers or food, medicine or food... So we would like to bless 400 families with a holiday meal ( a turkey or ham and all the fixings to make a meal with their family) plus a gift bag with several wrapped gifts ( new socks, hand towles, soap, family game, devotion book, Bible...) Any funds given to this campaign, beginning September 22, 2020, will go toward blessing one of the families in need with our holiday meal program. If you would like to be apart of it, $35 pays for a family of 4 to receive a holiday meal and bag of small gifts.
Thank you for being a part of the love as we bless and "help a neighbor in Augusta GA" and the surroundng area.
Here, in Augusta GA, like most places, many families find themslevs in need during this crisis. Some are not able to work and therefoe are not getting paid. Yet they have a family to feed and bills to pay. Some suddenly find their children home from school and now they are in need of paying childcare expenses. Childcare or food? Utilities or food? Medicine or food? We at Broad Street Ministry Center are abiding by all regulations set out by the state and federal government, while still aiming to remain open. We have modified how we serve families to ensure the safety of all and to remain following the protocols laid out by the authority above us. The hunger need continues to grow, however, the financial and food donations toward the center have gone down. We are creating this fundraiser in hopes of re-stocking our shelves so that we can serve as many of our neighbors as possible during this crisis. We are a 501(c)3 so anything you give is tax deductible. Thank you for helping us, as we help those in need.
