We need our community's help to keep 78 playing! Join our campaign with 78 alum and current member of the Boston Red Sox, Adam Ottavino.
78 Youth Sports is a non-profit organization serving Brooklyn families in organized team sports for over 30 years. We are currently among the largest youth sports organizations in New York City, with leagues, camps, clinics, and travel teams for baseball, basketball, softball, and flag football. Our mission is to offer quality programs so that each athlete can achieve his or her personal athletic potential while learning about teamwork, fairness, communication, and friendship.
The impact of the pandemic has left us fighting for our existence. Over the past year, we have had to manage the cancelation of our 2020 Spring Baseball and Softball Recreational League, our summer Baseball and Basketball Camps, our Fall Flag Football League, and our 2020-21 Winter Basketball League, in addition to multiple clinics and events. As we look to the future, things remain uncertain. We are not out of the woods and need your support.
Over the years, we turned to professional staff to allow us to better be able to meet the demands of a growing young population, to create systems that enhanced our communication with you, and to execute thoughtful and effective programs. At the same time, we have run efficiently and kept our pricing as low as possible. We have never turned away a family that could not afford a fee.
These times have only reinforced the importance of sports and outdoor activity for physical and emotional well-being. We are asking you to help support our organization so we can continue to offer quality sports programs to Brooklyn youth for many years to come!
