This fundraising is to help 5 homeless dogs in need. All were rescued from the streets with injuries and/or medical conditions. They are now safe at a shelter in rural Guatemala getting the attention and affection they deserve but the shelter is at full capacity with limited resources, so we are helping to raise the funds needed. Together they need a modest amount of $270.
Chiquitin was less than two months old and tiny when she was found wandering on a ravine by herself. She was under nourished and with a fungus on her ear that was treated.
Lilly is a young female rescued with an open wound on her leg that had to be cleaned, sutured and treated with antibiotics.
Pepita is a young puppy rescued with multiple injuries on her legs, apparently another dog had bitten her. Unfortunately, the wounds became infected which caused severe inflammation and pain. She is currently on treatment and recovering.
Selena had a severe intestinal infection that prompted her to lose 10 lbs. of weight. She was hospitalized several weeks so she could be properly treated and monitored. She started treatment at 21 lbs. and is now up to 28 lbs. She’s a warrior and only 1-year old.
Tartuza is just six months and had severe mange on her legs and mouth that required proper treatment.
