This modest fundraising is to help 3 homeless dogs in great need. All were rescued from the streets with injuries or medical conditions. They are now safe at a shelter in rural Guatemala getting the attention and affection they deserve but the shelter is at full capacity with limited resources, so we are helping to raise the funds needed. Please read their stories below and consider making a small donation – anything helps.
Touppe (black puppy) at only six months old was rescued from the streets with severe skin issues due to mange and fungus. Likely she has survived on her own from day one. She requires a daily treatment of oral and topical medications and special food. She also requires regular baths. The vet is checking her weekly and it’s been a hard path, but she is slowly making progress.
Teddy (white poodle mix) had a bad wound on his head and neck. He had owners that just neglected him until he was surrendered to the shelter because he was ill and was “damaged goods”. She just has fungus that requires the proper medication.
Veterinario (black adult) was left tied to the shelter’s gate. He was anemic and weak to the point he couldn’t walk. He weighted less then 30 pounds his ideal weight. He has been gaining his weight and strength back with proper food. He was just vaccinated and dewormed. He requires help to pay his food and vaccines.
Please help them today with a small donation and by sharing their story. They have suffered enough.
