The Upper Township Football Association (UTFA) is comprised of the families and players that make up the Upper Township Indians Football Team. This includes students and their families from the Upper Township School District grades K-8.
The UTFA is a non-profit 501c3 organization who’s mission is to inspire youth to practice the ideals of sportsmanship, scholarship, fellowship and physical fitness, regardless of race, creed or color. To bring youth closer together through the means of a common interest in sportsmanship, scholarship, fellowship and athletic competition.
The UTFA prides itself by giving back to the community through various forms of charitable work, and fun all inclusive community activities.
The Upper Township Indians compete in the Cape Atlantic Junior Football League, and have games on Saturdays, September - November.
In 2020 the UTFA has begun an initiative to bring "concussion awareness", and player safety to the forefront in what is believed to be a first in the CAJFL. The UTFA is partnering with Cape Regional Physicians Associates in providing the players and their families with a certified concussion protocol. In conjunction with this personalized service, the UTFA is actively working to replace its aging fleet of helmets.
The Upper Township Football Association does not turn any child away, and provides the necessary equipment for all of its 125 players free of charge. This is all done while keeping the cost of player registration at a minimum. This initiative is only made possible through donations from the community and donors like yourself. THANK YOU!
