Some days its hard to believe that I've come full circle having recovered from my own TBI and post concussion syndrome to now aiding veterans in their own recovery. To say I'm passionate about what I do each day is an understatement. These veterans are some of the strongest people I've had the pleasure of getting to know. They return from the front lines to often fight their own battles at home. The Invisible wounds of war cost 22 veteran lives per day. The Home Base Program at Massachusetts General Hospital is providing world class care to veterans and their families healing the invisible wounds of war. This multidisclinipary team works to treat the whole person providing services spanning from psychopharmacology and individual therapy to art therapy and cooking classes. The team motto is "Their mission is complete. Ours has just begun." This mission can only be accomplished through generous donations. Please support our Run to Home Base Campaign to help provide this care.
