The #metoo movement (with corresponding #itsonus #timesup and #itstimetoheal) has empowered people to speak out, it has elevated the conversation around domestic and sexual violence, and made it clear these issues aren’t just women’s issues. They’re human issues, business issues, community issues, and public health issues. Now it's time to #healmetoo.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that 1 in 3 women and 1 in 7 men will experience intimate partner violence in their lifetime, and the US Department of Justice reports that in the US, someone is sexually assaulted every 98 seconds.

Exhale to Inhale (ETI) empowers those affected by domestic and sexual violence to transform their lives. ETI uses the healing practice of trauma-informed yoga to empower survivors, while helping communities to develop skills and knowledge to support them.

What we do is more than just yoga. Exhale to Inhale's trauma-informed yoga classes are a tool that help survivors reconnect to the power and strength they have (and have always had) inside them, so they can create the lives they want to live. The yoga mat is a safe place where people can practice making choices, express when something doesn’t feel right to them, and figure out what would work better. Just $25 sponsors a survivor to attend an Exhale to Inhale trauma-informed yoga class

"My yoga practice gave me the compassion and release I needed to begin loving myself enough to take control of my life." – survivor and Exhale to Inhale volunteer

Please join us in empowering survivors of domestic and sexual violence.

We are stronger together. We hear you, we see you. Join us! #healmetoo.
