HARTT friends, we are so incredibly blessed that all of you in the community support our work. At times when many large agencies in Maricopa County have significantly cut back on or stopped their field services altogether, our all-volunteer organization is still going strong. Every day, across our County AND in Payson, our team of 50+ volunteers are out searching for lost pets, humanely trapping shy and injured stray animals, and making sure they are safely off the streets.
We are spread incredibly thin and are doing our best to keep up with the volume. Because we have teams ALL over town, we have a couple of immediate needs we could REALLY use your help with!
First, we are hoping to acquire 5 new HomeAgain Plus Universal Microchip Readers (with tax, $400 each) so that each of our teams will have a scanner within their area so they can quickly scan and get lost pets back home. This particular scanner is the most reliable on the market and is the only one we trust.
We also have a very large foster house where our most shy dogs go for rehabilitation - our caretaker lives there and not only does she provide all animal care, feeding, laundry, bathing, socialization and training, but she also has LOTS of clean up responsibilities. Not all of our dogs are housetrained! We need a way to quickly clean up the home so that it is always hygenic and healthy for our foster pets. The Bissell vacuum cleaner and mop combination is exactly what we need! it, too, with tax is almost $400.
Any amount helps - please share this fundraiser widely, so that our volunteer teams can be properly outfitted with this critical equipment for our organization. Any excess funds raised will be used to purchase additional, always-needed equipment for HARTT.
