Only 25 cents a day will help this poor dog stay employed.... I'm Harmony, DFM's part-time watchdog and greeter, and I want everyone to donate to the Diabetes Foundation of Mississippi because I love people and some of them need help.
I work at the Diabetes Foundation 3-4 days a week with Bethany. Auntie Irena gives me popcorn. Aunties Mary and Trisha pet me, and Auntie Hannah and Ashley give me belly rubs. I LOVE bellyrubs! And I get to play with all the people who come in if they aren't afraid of me!
Last year, I grew up watching the Diabetes Foundation of Mississippi provide dozens of Sweet Subject Educational programs for Mississippi's schools along with 275 boxes of supplies for school diabetes emergencies. (Red Dots on map)
Auntie Hannah and Nicki made dozens of hospital visits with newly diagnosed children and we gave backpacks of supplies and age appropriate information to the families. (yellow Dots on map)
70 families were educated and networked at our Camp Kandu. I've seen pictures, but camp doesn't allow dogs. <pout>
Assistance was provided to about 300 uninsured/underinsured individuals who cannot afford the insulin they require to live. (Green Dots on map)
So, bring your entire family, best friends, church, classmates and co-workers and come play with me at the Jackson Walk on Sunday, October 6 at Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance Co, Livingston Lane, Jackson, MS
