Can you believe that last year we placed 4th in this competition! All because we have such amazing supporters and a dedicated group of volunteers. Starting a non-profit was much harder then I ever imagined and keeping it going is even harder! It was just the 2 of us for over a year that shared the same mission to save cats. Together we grew and expanded into 4 pet stores and 3 habitates and over 40 volunteers!! Over 5000 cats rescued since 2012!!!! And 6 dogs have been rescued! Many of our cats require eye surgery, knee surgery, hip surgery, dental surgery, amputation, endless diagnostics and continuous vetting. These surgeries add up and can range anywhere from $300-$4000!! Your help is needed!!T Our medical yearly bills range between 30K-40K. Competitions like this are so important for a small rescue group like Happy Homes. This helps secure funds to keep saving and helping animals in need. HELP US HELP THEM BY HELPING US FUNDRAISE FOR THE CHANCE TO WIN A GRANT FOR OUR RESCUE. Happy Homes Animal Rescue is a 501 C3 non-profit all volunteer animal rescue. We work endless hours rescuing cats from bad situations. We are helping control the pet population in New Jersey by Trap-Neuter-Return and we are helping cats out of bad situations daily. Our volunteers work every day saving cats going to dangerous areas, going to kill shelters and trapping cats early hours of the morning.
