Hi my dearest family, friends and colleagues,
Run for Life. This has been my mantra for years now. As you already know, I run marathons every year. People who don't run may not understand why I do this and think this is all craziness. Running has actually helped me become healthy, physically and mentally. It has become my addiction.
The first marathon I ran was in Philadelphia in 2012. The following year I ran the Chicago and NYC Marathons. During those times, running was all about finishing the race and breaking my own personal record. Nowadays, running marathons is more about enjoying the moment, the scenery, meeting people and connecting with them in a special way. I have run several more marathons in Paris, Berlin, London, Athens, Tokyo and will continue to do more. The London and Tokyo marathons was a lot more fun to do because I partnered with charitable organizations to raise money for their causes. It was especially gratifying to know that you have helped an organization reach its goals by raising money for them.
Next year in April, I will be running the Boston Marathon. The Hall Steps Foundation has given me the chance to partner with them. This foundation has helped women and children living in poverty in Ethiopia. Please click this link to see what this wonderful foundation has done for years.
I am so honored and grateful that they have given me this opportunity to raise money for them and run the Boston Marathon. Let us all help this foundation continue with their amazing mission! Thank you and God bless you all!
