With the shelter-in-place in effect, many of our seniors live in isolation and fear of not having access to proper food, care, and resources. Our hope is to continue providing meals and basic necessities to our seniors. This is where we need your help.
Hanul has created the Emergency Relief Fund to raise $50,000 to help support our efforts.
All proceeds will go towards protecting our seniors, volunteers, and staff from contracting and spreading the virus and to enable our staff and volunteers to better serve our community.
No donation is too small. Here’s how you can make an impact:
$10 will provide one curbside pick-up meal for a senior in need
$25 will support one limited English-speaking senior attend virtual ESL class for one month
$50 will provide for one box of Korean non-perishable emergency food for a homebound senior household
$75 will support one legal permanent resident take a weekly virtual citizenship instruction class to help them become a naturalized US citizen
$250 will provide one month's worth of personal protective equipment such as masks and gloves for six home care aides
$300 will provide weekly mental health counseling for one individual in need for three months
$500 will enable one staff member to provide benefit counseling for 25 low-income seniors and families via virtual or telephone assistance
We are committed to serve our community of seniors who are the most vulnerable and at-risk during this unprecedented time.
Thank you for your support and generosity.
