10 New Documentaries to Equip the Church
Cesar was a drug lord, womanizer and addict. He was deeply in debt. Several people from the local church in Fuego Nuevo, a dangerous neighborhood of Mexico City, went to Cesar's neighborhood and prayed for him. As a result, Cesar came to faith in Christ, and as he grew, he started soccer tournaments in his neighborhood to keep young people off of drugs. Now the community of Fuego Nuevo is changed; the soccer clubs have impacted not only the teens, but also their parents, and have made the neighborhood safer. And many have come to faith in Jesus Christ.
For the past 39 years, Harvest Foundation www.harvestfoundation.org has been envisioning and equipping church leaders to train their people to serve their neighbor humbly, sacrificially and joyfully; and Harvest does that in the context of accountability.
I'm David Haneke, Documentary Filmmaker https://www.linkedin.com/in/davidwhaneke/. Over the past 15 years, I've produced nine documentaries for the Harvest Foundation. These documentaries have been used in conjunction with training Pastors in 25 countries, who have trained their people to love their neighbor; these simple acts of love are changing communities! Here's the most recent documentary containing 5 inspiring stories of people in a church in Uganda https://youtu.be/G3MteNcJo2k.
Harvest has asked me to create 10 new documentaries over the next 5 years to help equip Pastors to train their people, so people in the church around the world can see what being the hands and feet of Jesus looks like in a community similar to theirs, and to respond with, “We can do that, too!”
Each of the 10 documentaries cost $48,000. The entire series of 10 documentaries is $480,000.
Would you consider partnering with Harvest in this Kingdom project to equip leaders of the church with a donation of $3.33/day for 3 short months ($300 or more) to fund the first Harvest documentary? A donation of any amount will help make an impact ($25, $50, $100, $300, $500, $1,000, $2,500, or $10,000).
As of January 1, 2021, the first documentary is fully funded by generous donors! Thank you! The remaining amount for the second documentary is $40,014 to help change local communities through the people of the church!
Incidently, the reason that the amount raised on this page may look different is that several people have made check donations to the Harvest Foundation -- which don't show up on GoFundMe Charity; but please know that whether it's by check or through GoFundMe, all donations go to the Harvest Foundation.
For donations by check, the address is: Harvest Foundation, PO Box 2670, Phoenix, AZ 85002. On checks, please write "Documentary" in the Memo, so it goes to this designated fund. All checks and GoFundMe donations will receive a donation of receipt by mail.
Please consider sharing this with your friends on Facebook using the share button, so that friends can also be part of this Kingdom Movement, being the hands and feet of Jesus, and helping transform the community and the nation! Thank you!
