Our annual March-a-Thon will be on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018 from 10 am - 1 pm at Hamilton Heights High School. Band students in grades 6 - 12 will learn marching techniques, play fun team building activities, & meet new friends while raising money for the Hamilton Heights Band Program.
10% of the funds raised go into the students' Charms Account and they can use these funds for band trips, instrument repairs, and uniform maintenance fees. The rest of the funds go towards our rapidly, growing band program! School budgets are tight, so these funds will help fund things we need like sheet music, contest entry fees, maintenance of our new band uniforms, Amber Guard supplies and instrument repairs.
The March-A-Thon was renamed the "Bob Leeman March-A-Thon" in 2016 to honor past Band Booster Bob Leeman who passed away in April of 2015 from pancreatic cancer. Bob founded and organized the March-A-Thon for many years and was an incredible volunteer for our Band Program for many years.
