Ferngully was brought to Halifax Humane Society through Animal Control. Her body was covered in multiple burn sites including her foot pads, it is unclear what caused the burns. She was immediately taken into the veterinary services department. The team worked on Ferngully for over an hour to treat her wounds. After 2 days she was transported to one of our community partners VECEV. They did extensive medical on Ferngully and we currently have her in a foster home continuing to heal. Please help us care for Ferngully and many other dogs in her same type of condition. Medical care and professionally trained staff are very expensive but it is our mission to care and save as many animals as we can. Ferngully is worth saving. Don't you think so too?
