Guruji, Joseph Emmett, lives the life of a sanyasi. He spends all his life selflessly encouraging our Houston community and the United States community at large to live more fulfilling, meaningful lives. For us high school and college students, this service manifests in the form of free classes on the intricacies of the Bhagavad Gita. Guruji makes his lectures come alive with stories and anecdotes and ensures that all of our doubts are cleared. He does this expecting nothing in return, yet as beneficiaries to this knowledge, it is incumbent upon us to show Guruji our gratitude for his selfless teachings.
On July 26, Guruji's Guru, Swami Parthasarathy, will be delivering remarks in celebration of Guru Purnima, an annual celebration of the Guru. Before then, I was hoping we could show Guruji our gratitude by raising at least $300. Please contribute what you can, whether it is $15, $30, $50, $75, etc.
