COVID-19 forced us at Guadalupe Regional Middle School (GRMS) to cancel our annual gala and other end-of-year fundraising events.
While we pivot to make changes in our fundraising schedule for the coming school year, with alternatives to in-person events + room for the possibility to continue our beloved traditions, we need your help now!
Our projections show a shortfall for this school year, leaving us in the red.
A friend of the school has offered to match, dollar for dollar, all donations that we receive in the next two weeks up to $5,000 to help us reach the finishline for the year.
Why is completing our budget for the year so important?
As a non-profit and a school, we create realistic budgets every school year that honor the fact that each dollar is gifted to GRMS. We build-in the things that make us unique, while being thoughtful about how to make each dollar do more.
As an all-scholarship school, we do not have the traditional tuition that most Catholic schools rely on. Raising our budget to the very last dollar is the only way to sustain our program, our community. Ending in the red forces us to dip into our reserves, which impacts our long-term financial stability.
If you receive our e-newsletters, you know we put our money where our mouth is!
We almost got it done despite the challenges of COVID-19. Please consider a donation to help us over the last hump.
