Together, We Shall make this a reality!
Please allow me to introduce you to Jesse and Barbara Barrientos and their two children, Jayden (son/scout) and Allison (daughter).
You wouldn’t know it by their smiles, but this family has seen their share of difficulties. You see, Jesse was in an automobile accident in 2016 that left him paralyzed from the waist down. And roughly two months ago, Barbara was diagnosed with cancer and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. Despite these challenges, they still manage to smile.
Recently Jayden expressed interest in participating on our backpacking trips and since that our troop centers on building strong father-son relationships through outdoor experiences, our leaders immediately began to think about a way for Jayden's father to participate with him.
We believe the GRIT Freedom chair is the solutions. Please consider a small donation to help turn this dream into reality!
