9/11 Memorial Stair Climb

Join the Grit Foundation, UF Collegiate Veterans Society and the UF Student Government for the 3rd Annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb. The event will be at the Ben Hill Griffin Stadium - Gate 18 on September 11th with registration opening at 5 p.m. and the event beginning at 6 p.m.

Participants will climb 1,980 steps, equivalent to one of the World Trade Center buildings, to commemorate the first responders who paid the ultimate sacrifice on 9/11. The climb will be preceeded by a brief ceremony hosted by UF Collegiate Veterans Society and the Grit Foundation. 

By participating in the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb, you are honoring the sacrifices of each of the first responders that bravely responded to that tragic moment in history. The proceeds of this event helps the Grit Foundation maintain programs that support our local first responders and hometown heroes.
