In under two weeks, I’ll be running the Grindstone 100 to raise money for The Lead The Way Fund. The Grindstone is a 102 mile trail race starting at Camp Shenandoah, VA. Here’s the description from the race director - “Grit, endurance, temporary loss of sanity. You might need all of these if you want to attempt Grindstone. If you want to finish, well, just keep in mind this is, without a doubt, the hardest 100 miler east of the 100th meridian.” Sounds perfect… I know a number of folks have donated in the past and really appreciate the support. Please feel free to forward or share.
The Lead The Way Fund was inspired by the courage and character of my former teammate and friend, Sgt. James J. Regan, who was killed eleven years ago in Iraq while serving with honor with Charlie Company, 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment. LTWF helps support disabled U.S. Army Rangers and the families of Rangers who have died, have been injured or are currently serving in harm’s way around the world. LTWF provides spouses and children of deceased, disabled or active duty Rangers with assistance for health and wellness programs and other services determined to be vital to the family’s well-being.
Any donation no matter how small would be very much appreciated.
Thank you for your consideration and thanks to those who have donated previously.
