My birthday is March 25 and I want to raise $1,500 for Camp Erin - Montgomery, an overnight grief camp program that's part of Hospice Caring. Many of you have heard me talk about Hospice Caring and know that I serve on its board. It's this grief camp that drew me to the organization.
For more than 15 years, I've seen what a strong grief camp can do for kids who have experienced the death of a loved one. There's nothing like it. It's a time when they can connect with other kids who have experienced a similar loss and truly "get it." Activities are designed to help them deal with their grief. But, it's also an opportunity for the kids to be kids; to be silly and have a great time in a setting where they are safe and free to have fun.
Camp Erin is that kind of place, and I want to do what I can to support this overnight camp program. Hospice Caring is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and the children attend Camp Caring for free. Your support helps make that possible.
Please help me celebrate my birthday by making a contribution to Hospice Caring.
Thanks so much,
Camp Erin is one of numerous programs provided by the organization's more than 300 volunteers.
