About Gretchen's Gazelles

Gretchen's Gazelles was founded in 2014 in honor of Gretchen, who is the daughter of Jane Mitchell-Reimers, a Delta Air Lines flight attendant. Gretchen lost her life to cancer at only 33 years of age. Since 2014, Gretchen’s Gazelles has raised over $500,000 to support the life-saving mission of the American Cancer Society.

Gretchen’s Gazelles is a community of Delta Air Lines employees and customers working side by side to truly make a difference in the fight against Cancer!

In 2020, Gretchen’s Gazelles will raise funds to honor Lawrence Paine Klamon through the American Cancer Society’s Hope Ball. The father of Gretchen’s Gazelles co-lead Steven Klamon, Lawrence lost his battle with a very rare form of blood cancer called BPDN on December 27, 2019.
