I'm spinning for MitoCanada.
Humans are fueled by tiny powerhouses called mitochondria. They are present in almost every cell in our bodies. They generate the energy we need to keep our hearts pumping, lungs breathing, brains thinking.
When mitochondria fail, our lives are at risk.
2021 is the 10th year of the Mito Spinathon and of all of what we have done to fight Mitochondrial Disease. For this challenge, I plan on riding my Peloton bike for 10 hours straight with as little breaks as possible. Can I get 150 miles? 200 miles? With your support, I'm going to get as much as I can with a heart full of support and a hand on my back. If you can and have the ability, please support my journey and my challenge.
