"Let no one sit on the sidelines" GLASA, Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association, is an association that makes it possible for individuals with disabilities to participate in sports. In doing this, it allows these individuals to be active, feel empowered, and be a part of a community. I am choosing to run the Chicago Marathon for GLASA because I am inspired by the athletes and their stories. The ability to run is something most of us take for granted; I am running for those who cannot or require an adapted means of running. I love to run because of the way it makes me feel. Please help me support this association so that we can help these athletes stay active and healthy by participating in sports that they love; we need your help!
