In an effort to increase our efficiency and effectiveness, Grateful Hearts is seeking to aquire the necessary funding to implement a new computer software system that will both manage our entire client intake process as well as track and manage both the incoming and outgoing inventory of our foodbank.
This new system will greatly speed up our client intake process, eliminating lengthy client waiting periods as a result of time spent on repetitious paperwork currently necessary for our check in process . As a result we will increase our capacity to impact a greater number of people in need. With this system we will be able to access important information quickly at any given moment as well as ensuring accurate figures for necessary reporting.
We serve hundreds of food- insecure people weekly and thousands monthly. We deliver food to shut ins and serve various agencies such as the US Vets, Veterans of America and Mental Health Facilities and more.
This system will track and manage all facets of these various programs with a high level of accuracy and accessibility. At present we use a very outdated, inefficient, and labor intensive manual check in and inventory program.
