The time has come for me to shear my glorious locks and donate them! After many months of research and listening to testimonials, I have decided to donate them to Children with Hair Loss, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization that provides human hair replacements at no cost to children and young adults facing medically-related hair loss. It is the only hair donation non-profit that does so at this point in time! They supply hair replacement kits to over 300 children and young adults suffering from hair loss due to Cancer, Alopecia, burns, Trichotillomania and other rare diseases and disorders every year. This endeavor is not without it's costs though. On average, it will cost over $5,000 to fully support a hair replacement program until an individual reaches 21 years old but for my purposes, one wig will cost around $1000 dollars to produce and get to a child. I would greatly appreciate any help to offset those costs for whomever receives my hair! if you want more information, please take a look at their website ( https://childrenwithhairloss.us/ ). It is a wonderful organization and I look forward to fundraising for this cause!
