Grandpa Le was a loving father, grandfather, husband, and educator. As a school principal in Dalat, Vietnam, he believed in individual potential and the power of education. He dedicated his life to children, whether they were his own children, grandchildren, or his students. He was also a refugee who sacrificed and strived through hardship and uncertainty for his family to live a life of freedom... to pursue happiness and fulfillment, and reach any goal we dared to dream. At this moment, there are millions of refugees throughout the world facing unspeakable loss and unimaginable uncertainty. They are seeking shelter, food, clothing, hygiene supplies, medical care, and other basic life necessities. It would fill Grandpa Le with enormous pride today to know that he created a legacy of support for other refugees like he was. So that they can also help their children and grandchildren live a life of freedom... to pursue happiness, education, and fulfillment, and to realize their potential.
