First, please let me thank you for your thoughts and support during this difficult time. Gordon was an amazing man who touched people's lives in a way that was as unique as his style. Gordon stood for Peace and Justice, he was an activist and was always in service to others as such, Gordon always found a way to give back to those less fortunate. Gordon's primary way to help those in need was through his participation in a Philadelphia/Managua based organization called MedNica.
Mednica's mission is simple, to provide support and fund a local clinic in Nicaragua that serves the underprivileged. Gordon served on the Board of Directors and traveled to Nicaragua on three separate occasions, some during times of political unrest to deliver medical supplies and donate his time. He did everything from pick coffee to build structures for those in need. We cannot think of a better way to honor and pay tribute to Gordon then through the support of this organization that Gordon loved wholeheartedly. While gestures of flowers, food, etc. are lovely, please consider a donation to MedNica in lieu of such gestures. The donations go to pay for medical supplies, salaries, and operational costs, and we know this would bring Gordon (and conversely, us) immense pleasure and gratitude. The campaign goal is arbitrary, and anything you can do, large or small, is welcomed and will make a difference.

Thank you again for your love and support.
