This year at a young age, I unexpectantly was diagnosed with Advanced Congestive Heart Failure. I have had no risk symptoms previously, like, diabetes or obesity. It caught me off guard as I have been active, normal weight, no smoking, and energetic over the years. Being a nurse I thought I was a great example for patients. I spent a week in the hospital on the cardiac unit. What I have learned is that there can be a genetic component or an infection that can affect your heart health. Everyone needs to learn the warning signs. Please join me in getting warning signs out to the public. Go RED!
