This is the camp that I was a volunteer counselor for the same year Jordan was born! It was a huge bucket list item for me to be at the camp that was built because of Adam!
We're raising funds to support the Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America's first-ever "Walk, Run, Ride for 45" virtual fundraiser challenge in honor of the late Adam Petty all to help send children to Victory Junction at no cost to their families!
To honor Adam, former driver of the No. 45 car who passed away in a racing accident on May 12, 2000, each individual on our team is committed to completing 4,500 steps by walking/running OR 45 miles by riding a motorcycle/bicycle during the week of May 10 - 14, 2021!
Victory Junction – a year-round camp dedicated to providing life-changing camping experiences for children with chronic and serious medical illnesses – has served as the Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America’s primary beneficiary since its establishment by NASCAR's Kyle Petty and his family in 2004 in honor of his late son, Adam.
Children served at Victory Junction are not able to attend normal summer camps due to their unique medical needs, such as cancer, hemophilia, spina bifida and epilepsy. And even though it costs more than $2,500 for one child to attend Victory Junction for a week, no child or family incurs this cost, thanks to the generosity of corporations, organizations and individuals.
Victory Junction currently serves as the Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America's primary beneficiary. Since 1995, the Ride has raised more than $19 million for Victory Junction and other charities that support chronically ill children, helping send 8,210 children to Victory Junction.
Your donation to this cause means so much for so many! We appreciate any support you can offer as we raise funds to help the Kyle Petty Charity Across America send more kids to camp at Victory Junction!
