The Global Youth Soccer Ambassador Program (GYSAP) in conjunction with the Potomac Soccer Association (PSA) aims to promote cultural exchanges between North American and African youth soccer programs. Often children in developing countries such as Ghana, lack the resources for equipment to play the game of soccer. The goal of GYSAP is to collect used soccer clothing and equipment (jerseys, shorts, socks, soccer cleats, shin guards, balls, pug goals, vests, cones, etc.) to reduce barriers to play for youth soccer players in African countries. Our goal is to raise $2,500 to cover the costs of shipping the soccer equipment to Ghana and distribution of the uniforms and equipment this summer. PSA Coach Theo Botchway from PSA will travel with his wife to Ghana this summer.
You can help us by donating to the GYSAP! For more information about the program and to learn about other ways to get involved, please visit [enter web site]. All of the fundraising activities are organized by PSA players on the U13 boys and girls teams.
