Here's the deal: instead of receiving birthday gifts for you, ask your friends and family to give back to Gladney! Share your heart for adoption, tell why you care about Gladney's mission, and give others the opportunity to get involved. It's that simple!
How it works:
1. You make the awesome decision to pledge your birthday and create the fundraising page to match it. Click on JOIN THE TEAM on this page to start the process. You'll be able to customize this section to put the information you want to share with your friends and family.
2. After you've created your fundraiser, let your friends and family know and ask them to donate during your birthday month. Send them the link to your individual fundraising page to make online donations.
3. If any of your friends or family members would rather mail in check donations, they can make a check out to Gladney, write “(your name) birthday fundraiser” on the memo line, and mail it to this address:
Gladney Center for Adoption,
Attn: Donor Relations
6300 John Ryan Drive
Fort Worth, Texas, 76132.
We’ll process their offline donation and update your total on your Crowdrise fundraising page, so you’ll still get credit!
4. Your support will create bright futures through adoption.
Gladney believes every child deserves a loving and caring family. Through your investment in our 131-year-old mission of Creating Bright Futures Through Adoption, you can show you believe that, too. Our impact together will be deep and wide. Our efforts will change the direction and future for expectant mothers and adopted children, and the generations that will follow them.
Without compassionate and giving friends like you, we cannot do what we do. You can confirm adoption is a brave and worthy option – for expectant mothers experiencing an unplanned pregnancy and yearning for their children to have a bright future, for parents longing for children to love, and for waiting children in state foster care and international orphanages hoping for a loving and caring home.
Your support will mean so much to Gladney, and more importantly, to them—during their adoption process and on their lifelong adoption journey. Thank you.
