Founded in 1968, the Florida Marine Science Educators Association (FMSEA) is a professional association of individuals and organizations devoted to the cause of marine education in Florida.
Every year, the first weekend in May is one for learning, networking, and perhaps most importantly, celebration, during the annual Florida Marine Science Educators Association (FMSEA) conference. However, due to the circumstances surrounding COVID-19, the “Biting into Ocean Education” conference in New Smyrna Beach was cancelled. While we are incredibly disappointed that we won’t be able to connect with our fellow fish-loving friends in person, we are also thinking ahead to 2021.
We have a "fin"tastic conference in the works, and want to make it an incredible experience, especially coming out of such an unsettling time. However, we need your help to make it happen.
Did you know that a large portion of the funding for FMSEA’s operating budget comes from conference registrations? While we are so pleased to offer a FREE virtual conference this year, we also recognize that by not charging conference registration fees we need your help!
Will you help us in our mission to provide a medium for the exchange of ideas, information and resources among Florida’s marine educators by donating to FMSEA?
