Help support children, families & early childhood educators during this time of need.
At a time when we are all experiencing the pandemic in unique ways, generosity is what brings people together. #GivingTuesdayNow is an opportunity to stand together and give back, no matter who or where we are. It is a new global day of giving and unity that will take place from now through May 5th as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19.
Buncombe County's children need your help.
During this time of crisis, early childhood educators are on the front lines keeping our community up and running. By opening their arms to the children of essential workers who maintain our health and safety, child care professionals are the backbone of an effective COVID-19 response.
Buncombe Partnership for Children is committed to helping the child care community stay the course during the crisis and beyond. That's because any individual who is part of the health, safety, and basic operations of our community should be able to get dependable, high quality child care. Further, we must invest in caring for young children to prepare working families to rebound from this crisis.
That's where you come in.
The educators who are providing care – and the children who receive it – deserve the very best. Your gift will help purchase essential health-related supplies and prepare the child care community to support working families during and beyond this crisis.
What exactly will your donation support?
Donors like you will:
· Help child care providers meet costs associated with stringent health and safety requirements (e.g., spray nozzles to efficiently disperse cleaning solutions on outdoor play equipment).
· Ensure child care programs have the stability and the resources to reopen the moment that parents are ready to send children back to care.
· Protect teachers’ mental health by underwriting resiliency training and shared service employee assistance programs.
When the time comes for families to head back to work and for children to return to care, please ensure our youngest children still have the very best start in life with the support of the teachers who love and care for them.
