Help us support a greener and cleaner New York City
While we recently celebrated 50 years of Earth Day, the Mayor's office proposed suspending curbside compost pick-up and community composting as part of many painful cuts to the city budget. As you all know, composting is an essential service and should remain in place as part of our ongoing efforts to fight climate change. The struggle continues!
Suspending our public programs has deeply impacted our organization. If you have the means, we ask that you consider making a donation to keep us doing what we do best. We are a small, scrappy, community-based organization that puts donations to work for all New Yorkers. And we will not give up.
Your gift will help provide immediate financial support, so we can continue to provide composting, education, and stewardship to the East River Park. We greatly appreciate your support.
