#GivingTuesdayNow is your chance to be on the frontlines with Bella during COVID-19
At Bella, we have to admit – it’s been an extraordinary moment in our organization’s history.
We made a decision early on to fight COVID head-on.
To ensure no patient was left alone, we launched telemed overnight, opened a COVID Drive-Thru Care Clinic, and took action to secure Bella financially in the face of lost revenue.
It hasn't been easy, but we do believe #TeamBella has been a source of hope in uncertain times.
Since the 16th of March:
We have served 2,399 patients in our Englewood clinic.
468 of those people were cared for by Bella for the first time.
378 patients presented with concerns related to COVID-19.
Roughly 20% of those patients tested positive for the coronavirus.
And while Bella has played a unique role on the front lines of COVID-19 health care, the needs of our pregnant mothers and their unborn babies have not gone untended.
39 babies have been delivered by Bella providers in the midst of this pandemic.
We have walked beside 37 abortion-vulnerable mothers.
8 women in our care are abortion-determined.
We are currently walking with 2 patients through Abortion Pill Reversals.
If 1 in 5 Bella patients were under- or uninsured at the start of this pandemic, we are preparing for the number of financially vulnerable in our patient community to rise to at least 1 in 4.
This #GivingTuesdayNow, we need YOU! “Team Bella” is far larger than the 35 members of our employed staff.
YOU ARE TEAM BELLA.
YOU have made it possible for us to continue to care for those sick, or scared, or alone during COVID-19.
YOU have secured testing kits to identify and contain the disease.
YOU have protected our staff with vital PPE.
YOU have funded wellness campaigns, and patient communication efforts, and natural supplement supplies.
YOU have made it possible for us to not allow financial hardships to limit any patient’s access to dignified healthcare.
YOU ARE THE TEAM. And we need you now more than ever.
If you’ve given to Bella in the past. Thank you. Please, give again.
If this is the first time you’ve considered giving to Bella. Please, join our efforts to ensure no person in Colorado goes without medical care.
YOU are Bella.
