Tuesday, November 27th is touted as the “official" international day of giving. Please join us during this season of ThanksGIVING as we ask for your support and partnership to raise $125,000 for Frankie Lemmon School (FLS).
Finding out our only son had Down syndrome was at first devastating. We were overwhelmed with thoughts of his future but quickly learned that getting him involved in early intervention and therapies would give him the best start he needed. As Bennett approached the age of 3, we needed to decide what type of school would be best for his needs and we wanted a place that would provided him with the best education to get him prepared for a public school transition. By no accident, we came across The Frankie Lemmon School. Bennett attended FLS from age 3-6 and it greatly benefitted his early years of learning and devoloping. Every year since he's attended, we continue to support this school because of what it did for our son. We know it can help so many other children just like Bennett!
This is your opportunity to help us grow our Frankie Lemmon tree. Currently FLS has 80 students ranging in ages 3-6. The quality of care and dedication of our service providers is what allows our children to thrive!
The school only receives 25% of the funds needed to support the school from the State of NC, which leaves the rest up to generous donors like yourselves. It cost roughly $28,000 to fund one student annually to attend Frankie Lemmon.
Here is what your donation can provide:
$25 - Adaptive eating utensils
$50 - A musical Instrument
$100 - 2 hours of physical therapy
$250 - GoTalk Communication Aid
$500 - A field trip (our students love Hillridge Farms!)
$1,000 - Educational Supplies for 1 Classroom
$2,500 - A SMART board for adaptive learning
EVERY dollar is a step closer to helping our children blossom!
